You don't need any programming fax list knowledge, no math skills or love for statistics. Train language models The goal of Team Can AI Kick It was to make an artificial Eurovision song. Team member and creative coder Yannick Gregoire first fax list chose a so -called large language model as the basis for the texts (GPT-2 in this case). He trained this model with existing Dutch lyrics from, among others , a dataset with lyrics from folklore and rap to fax list Willeke Alberti. To train and test the lyric model, the team used Google Colab (an online environment for experimenting with ML, where you get some free time computing power).
Kill your darlings After a number fax list of experiments, the Dutch-language model turned out to be too 'gibberish'. Lots of English words, non-texts or completely plagiarized sentences. The result could not be sung by De Jeugd van Nowadays fax list rapper Willie Wartaal. Team member Janne Spijkervet also did another experiment. She built a fax list lyrics generator, trained with English texts from, among others, the online forum Reddit.
Texts generated with this, such fax list as 'Kill the government, kill the system', did not make it into the final submission. Ultimately, Team Can AI Kick It opted for an interim solution: the AI system and the artist involved Willie Wartaal entered into fax list a duet. In the song Wartaal's voice becomes increasingly robotic, the makers write in their making of article: “his vocals merge with the AI, as it were, until the incendiary text at the end of the fax list song, where the AI takes over completely. So AI is completely at the helm of the revolution.” Also read: AI in digital design: will human creativity be superfluous in the future?
